Cheesman Park is basically Capitol Hill but quieter and with a beautiful big park in the middle of it. The Neighborhood is bound on the north by Colfax Avenue, on the south by 8th Avenue, on the west by Downing Street, and on the east by York Street.

 

Long a gay hangout, Cheesman Park is still LGBT-friendly but is open to everyone who loves beautiful old buildings ringing one of the most beautiful open green spaces in Denver. Brick homes mingle with newer, high-priced condos, and local stores, coffee shops and small restaurants are tucked in between it all.
